Durham. It is a member of the Hogarth Partnership of Churches within the Hexham and Newcastle diocese.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-colibri-color-3-color\">Families are served by two excellent schools St. Mary\u2019s Primary in Barnard Castle and Carmel College in Darlington.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-colibri-color-3-color\">During term time, there is a vibrant<\/span> <span class=\"has-inline-color has-colibri-color-3-color\">Children\u2019s Liturgy every fortnight.&nbsp;<\/span> <strong><em>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-medium-font-size\"><span style=\"color:#a30004\" class=\"has-inline-color\"><strong><em>St Osmund\u2019s will be open for Parish Mass each <\/em>Tuesday at 10.00am<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-colibri-color-4-color\"><strong>Sunday <\/strong><\/span><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-colibri-color-4-color\">Mass Times<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-colibri-color-4-color\">As noted previously, the new schedule of weekend Masses will begin in May 2024. The principle used is that on the even Sundays of each month (second and fourth) there will be Mass at Gainford at 9.30 on Sunday as now; but on the odd Sundays of each month (first and third) there will be a vigil Mass on Saturday evening at 6.30pm. There will always be a notice on the porch door giving details for forthcoming weeks.
