They offer our Diocese unlimited potential as we seek to ensure viable and flourishing communities of people who want to deepen their commitment to Jesus and witness to him in our world.<\/p>\n<p>The Partnership titles have been chosen to reflect the many centuries of rich Christian heritage within what is now our present diocese. Each of the Partnerships is encouraged to remember with gratitude the courageous witness of those who, in various times and places, enabled our faith to survive and flourish and to ask for their prayers and those of the saints to whom the Partnership churches are dedicated.<\/p>\n<p>There are 19 Partnerships within the Diocese.\u00a0St Osmund\u2019s is a member of the\u00a0<strong>Hogarth Partnership<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>\u00a0The Hogarth Partnership: \u00a0<\/strong><strong>St. Osmund&#8217;s<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>St. Osmund\u2019s is a parish within the Hogarth Partnership in the Episcopal Area of Cleveland and South Durham. The partnership consists of the parishes Holy Family Darlington, SS. William and Francis de Sales Darlington, St. Anne Darlington, St. Augustine Darlington,\u00a0\u00a0St Mary Barnard Castle, St Osmund Gainford, St. Teresa Darlington, St. Thomas Aquinas Darlington.<\/p>\n<p>The Hogarth Partnership is named after Bishop William Hogarth.\u00a0\u00a0Following the restoration of the Catholic Hierarchy in 1850, William Hogarth became the first Bishop of the newly restored Diocese of Hexham in 1850 and then of Hexham and Newcastle in 1861. He resided in Darlington until his death in 1866.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>To find out more about Partnerships in the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle<\/strong> <strong><a title=\"Click Here\" href=\"http:\/\/www.rcdhn.org.uk\/partnerships\/ptnphome.php\">Click Here<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><em>Although independent of the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle, the Hogarth Partnership and the Parish of St. Osmund, the\u00a0<\/em><\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><em>Darlington Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham<\/em><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><em> meet at St. Osmund\u2019s Church and engage with the diocese, partnership and parish.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Details of the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham are given below:<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong><em>The Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham. <\/em><\/strong><\/span><em>The Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham was established in 2011 by Pope Benedict XVI to allow Anglicans to enter into the full communion with the Catholic Church whilst retaining much of their heritage and traditions.\u00a0It has constitutional equivalence to a diocese, currently under the direction of the Ordinary Msgr. Keith Newton.\u00a0\u00a0Msgr Newton is a member of the Catholic Bishop\u2019s Conference of England and Wales.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><em>There are currently three Personal Ordinariate Deaneries in England. The Darlington Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham is in the Northern Deanery, which consists of 5 pastoral areas. \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong><em>The Darlington Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham at St. Osmund\u2019s\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span><em>The Darlington Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham meet at St Osmund\u2019s Gainford. The Ordinariate congregation at St. Osmund\u2019s maintain an Anglican High Church patrimony. Fr.
